Joomla to WordPress Migrator

    I was using Joomla with Jacl Plus and com_attachment included. Can anyone tell me how to import attachments and groups i created?

  • Yes, it’s possible, fast and easy, just ask gConverter guys for migrate, they will take care of it.
    My Joomla is migrated to WordPress too, that’s their work ??

    I was using the plugin migrator. Installed it to the wordpress installation and it moved all my posts over. Now I’m just sorting it all and so far so good. Got an issue with my users though. That might be a bit tricky.

    They are converting Joomla Sections and Categories to WordPress Categories and subCategories with same parent-child hierarchical structure, Joomla articles will be converted and attached with same categories, there will not need to sort posts, and users will be converted to wordpress users with same data, tags and comments too.

    hmm…I have an issue with posts with multiple cats/subcats not getting tagged beyond the first category. anyone come across this and have a fix?

    I’m using Joomla 1.5.25 and WP 3.3.1
