Joomla -> WordPress migration and DocMAN

    Hi all

    I’m currently in the process of migrating a Joomla site to WordPress. This plugin has been a great help with articles and DocMAN migration. I was wondering however what replacement plugins people used for the DocMAN etc. This was the one plugin that kept me on Joomla for so long and I’m keen to hear experiences replacing it in WordPress

    Currently, FG Joomla to WordPress Premium with the Docman add-on can migrate the Docman documents as WordPress posts. A link is created in each post to download the Docman file.

    Hi Kerfred,

    Thanks – I have now done this. However going forward I would like to add more documents and also implement some basic security like some documents can only be downloaded by registered users. WP posts don’t offer the sort of functionality that DocMAN did

    I hope my question makes sense.

    Yes it makes sense.
    But I don’t know any other way right now. Perhaps other people will have other ideas.
    You can also search suitable plugins on the WordPress repository.
