Joomla/Mambo To WordPress Migrator – Content migration fail!

  • Hi,
    I’ve just used this plugin to migrate my site from mambo to the latest version of WP.
    The plugin has moved correctly the users and the categories but it wasn’t able to move contet (pages or posts)

    This is the error

    Content Migration

    Processing Category: Newsflash ===> found 7 posts….

    Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/nivisreg/nivis-regnum.com/wp-content/plugins/joomla-to-wordpress-migrator/joomla2wp-mig.php on line 1626

    latest version of what?
    Joomla/Mambo To WordPress Migrator is in its latest version, downloaded directy from wordpress plugings section…

    having exatly the same problem …

    Found 11 Categories…

    Content Migration

    Processing Category: Tech Talk ===> found 8 posts….

    The thing hangs here nothing in process
    joomla 1.5 and using the latest plugin 1.7.1… wordpress version 3.4.2

    Pls Help.

    I have exactly the same problem as januads.

    When I ran the migration with all options set on, the users were successfully migrated and I got a message about the number of categories found. Then there was a message about ‘Processing Category:’ and the number of posts found. Then the process hung and no posts were migrated. When I tried the migration again, opting to migrate only 1 selected category I got the following output as before, with the process hanging:

    Processing Category: For Tenants ===> found 31 posts….

    I am trying to migrate a Joomla site, version 1.5.26 to a WordPress site, version 3.4.2 and using version 1.7.1 of the plugin.

    Any guidance you can offer would be much appreciated.
