Journal Plug-in?

    I am looking for a ‘Journal’ plug-in. This is like a private messaging system for users of the website to interact with website staff – an internal WhatsApp if you like.

    As the topics are sensitive (mental health) the ‘journal’ must only be accessible by the site admin and the client.

    It must also persist.

    I have searched for a plug-in but have failed to find one and am hoping someone will know of one and be able to point me in the right direction. As a programmer, I could write one, but a quicker solution would be really helpful.
