Change the jpeg extensions to jpg before uploading

I saw in your php code that it was showing jpeg and jpg in some places and just jpg in others. i.e. the functions.php sections. Probably wouldn’t be easy to add support for jpeg would it? Maybe by adding a “Case 4” to your functions? Since jpeg is so common, I know that will continue to confuse the uploading users. Either way, thank you for the awesome plugin. I will continue to tweak and let you know if I run into anything further. Thanks again.

    Since jpeg is so common

I have never met a device that produced .jpeg files.

    Please show me.
The only place in my code where the jpeg extension appears is where non-wppa images are prepared to join the wppa+ embedded lightbox functionality.

I gotcha, I am not a coder so that is likely where the jpeg extension appears is during preparation. I appreciate you taking the time to assist. Keep up the great work on this wonderful plugin. We appreciate it. ??

Its not that i am unwilling to implement file-extension .jpeg, but only if there are devices that produce them, i.e. when it is needed by someone.

I understand that point of view. We are using your plugin, most likely, a little different than most of your users. We are using it to house reference pics straight from the web for artist drawing sessions. So we are running into many jpg images with the extension of .jpeg. So I was alerted that pictures were failing to upload and finally narrowed it down to the .jpeg extension being the issue. They liked being able to directly copy image to the ftp site from the website they were on at the moment. Renaming it is not hard, just another step is all. ?? And you know how lazy the human race is. LOL. I am sure it is a lot of work doing these little one off style implementations so no worries. I just appreciate you taking the time to clarify that was the issue.

You made your point. It will be implemented. Follow the changelog to see when its there.
