jq is not defined

  • I am getting a console error:
    jq is not defined
    wondering what jq is supposed to be and how to fix it. Error comes from
    bp-add-group-types-public.js

    I have tested the latest version and checked browser console on all of the pages where anything related to group types appears but can’t see such error. Please let me know where you are seeing this, on the group’s pages or while you are creating groups. For now please try to clear the cache, maybe clearing browser cache will help.

    I was using the latest version of buddypress and the bp-nouveau theme, were you using those during your testing? If not could you test with those and see if you have the same error

    Hi @maikelat, the plugin is not compatible with the latest released nouveau template. The code needs to be rewritten as per new template rules. This is happening just because of new template release and it’s completely different from the legacy template. Hopefully, next version will be compatible with bp-nouveau.
