• Hi,

My website is now broken thanks to ACF, I am getting (index):2364 Uncaught ReferenceError: acf is not defined

meaning my jquery is not working… How is the best way to get this working and still use the ACF plugin?

    John

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/advanced-custom-fields/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Hi John,

A couple of things. Plugin issues should be reported on the plugin support forum. Have you contacted Advanced Custom Fields team for support? Are you using the free or paid version of ACF? I am using ACF Pro on one of my WP 5.4 sites without issue. It sounds like you have a conflict with your jquery code. Please contact ACF with your issue. This forum is for general WordPress issues.

    Thank you.

Thanks, I have asked on the ACF forums but unfortunately as ACF are based in Australia, probably have to wait until tomorrow

Tomorrow or yesterday. Time zones are confusing. ??

For what it’s worth, I’ve used ACF on dozens of sites without jQuery problems. Are you using the version of jQ that ships with WordPress or some other version?
