  • @richsadams where did you post?Did you upgrade to 1.10 standard?

Nicola – The other thread discussing this issue can be found here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-36-update-causes-blockui-error?replies=23

As soon as I updated to AIOC v1.10 Standard the error returned.

FWIW AIOC was working before we upgraded to WP v3.6, then the error appeared and the feed from our Google Calendar stopped working. It may work in some version or other with WP 3.6, but all we use is the Google Calendar feed, and no matter what I’ve tried, that feature still doesn’t work.

To be fair the dev page says that it’s only been tested up to WP v3.5.2 so I’m hoping for an AIOC update soon.

@richsadam can you please post your error on our community forums? We don’t provide support here. Anyway i tested personally and downloading version 1.10 Lite from the wordpress repo causes this issue but when i upgrade to 1.9.1 and then to 1.10 it’s not there, in standard we use requireJS and load our version of jQuery so that we avoid this kind of issues.

I just tried updating the AIOC plugin with today’s release. After updating and clicking on the “Upgrade to Standard Edition…” it completely crashed our site. I was unable to get into the WP Admin, etc. I am now in the process of restoring our site from a backup. I just hope it works.

I’d caution anyone to wait and see if this “update” is actually working.

    Here are the error messages:

@nicola I tried registering on your community forum but could not for some reason.

UPDATE: The restoration worked. Phew! As much as we liked this plugin I think we’re pretty much done with it.

Best of luck to everyone else!

Rich: for what it’s worth, I’m pretty pleased with how this plugin has worked so far in testing although I haven’t looked for any relationship with the Google calendar.

This plugin still appears to be using an older version of the jquery blockUI plugin. I can no longer find the jquery.blockUI.js file on its own, but it does seem to be compressed together with other files in add_new_event.js. The version in use here is 2.59.0-2013.04.05. The latest version is: 2.65.0-2013.09.02. Find it solo here: https://malsup.github.io/jquery.blockUI.js

In my testing the latest version of this plugin (1.11.3pro) does conflict with NextGen Gallery.

Can ya’ll compress the latest version? I’m hoping that will help. Thanks in advance!

@knappen, thank you so much! Just what I needed.
