jQuery CSS Theme not showing up

I am calling the full calendar from a page using the shortcode [fullcalendar] in a text block. When this is all that was on the page, the css to change the colour theme worked fine. Then I added the shortcode [event_search_form] in a text block in front of the [fullcalendar] text block. Now the colours never change to the new theme chosen on the jQuery CSS Theme chosen on the Full Calendar settings screen, but stay on the default colour theme. Is there a shortcode way to include the chosen css theme with the [fullcalendar] or a way to make this work?
