• I have just begun receiving this message when I open up Parabola Settings, and when I am making changes in Parabola Settings:

If this message remains visible after the page has loaded then there is a problem with your WordPress jQuery library. This can have several causes, including incompatible plugins.
The Parabola Settings page cannot function without jQuery. You need to fix this issue before you can configure Parabola..

I had not added or deleted any plug-ins. Nothing had changed. I was just in the midst of trying out some new logos.

The message remains for about 5-10 seconds, then disappears. Anyone know what this is about?

  • I believe the message is pretty much self explanatory and you’ve answered your own question:

If this message remains visible after the page has loaded then there is a problem with your WordPress jQuery library”

Thanks, but I wasn’t clear. My question is more about degree. I should have asked “how long does the message have to remain to indicate a problem with the jQuery Library?” Now, it is only lasting for about 2 seconds at the most.

Also, In the event that I need to do something about this, I’m at a loss. I don’t know what the jQuery Library is or how to resolve a problem. Does anyone have experience with this to clue me in on what steps to take? Thanks.

I think I’ve pretty much decided this is resolved. @thezedt, I saw where you responded to similar inquiries re: Mantra, and since the message is only displaying now for a second or two during/after the page load, I’m figuring there’s nothing wrong. I did deactivate all my plugins and then try loading the settings, and still had the message briefly flash, so I ruled out plug-ins.

I believe I have a problem with that, suddenly my Parabola Settings are not working anymore, I mean, I can’t click on them… instead of a clickable mouse arrow (the “hand”)I got selection tool (I)…
