    When I try to translate a page I get the following errors:

    ?trp-edit-translation=true:1356 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
    at ?trp-edit-translation=true:1356:4
    (anonymous) @ ?trp-edit-translation=true:1356
    ?trp-edit-translation=true:1384 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
    at ?trp-edit-translation=true:1384:4

    But jQuery loads and the page displays correctly

    I tried to force jQuery to load right before trp-editor-container, and the error no longer appears, but the editing buttons for text/block still do not show up.

    I’m using the Impreza theme. I don’t have any caching plugins, and I’ve tried disabling everything except for the theme itself. The problem is only resolved when switching to a default theme. However, I can’t see where the error is (aside from the jQuery issue)

    I tried to install your plugin in the Impreza theme test environment (https://themetest.net/impreza), and both issues remain.

    1. “jQuery is not defined”
    2. The button for translating text/block is not displayed

    Hello @rkun

    1. jQuery is not defined
    I will test with the Impreza theme and get back to you with a response.
    If you are using TranslatePress-Multilingual 2.8.4, you can roll back to version 2.8.3 to check if the issue persists. I will also test it on my end: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/translatepress-multilingual/

    2. The button for translating text/block is not displayed
    Could you please add the following CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to see if it resolves the issue related to the pencil icon?

    trp-span{
    position: absolute !important;
    }

    If it doesn’t resolve the issue, could you let me know if you are using Safari?

    Kind Regards,

    Anca

    Hello @rkun

    jQuery is not defined

    I tested the theme, and it seems there is an issue that requires you to contact the support team for the Impreza theme to resolve this problem.

    This is not an issue of compatibility on our part or something we can resolve.

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Kind Regards,

    Anca

    I received a response from the Impreza developers:

    Hello, unfortunately, we have not declared support for this plugin, and it’s not planned. Impreza supports WPML and Polylang for creating multi-lingual sites.

    Additionally, your plugin page states:

    • Fully compatible with all themes and plugins.

    That’s why I assumed that, in case of any compatibility issues, you would help resolve the problem. The plugin description is misleading
