jQuery is not defined (roots.io soil)

Hello,
I noticed that the feed doesn’t load if I’m using roots.io Soil https://roots.io/plugins/soil/ plugin. So if someone else happens to be in the same situation, with an error message “Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined” in their devtools console, this is one possible reason for the plugin not working. I decided just to disable Soil and the feed shows up now.
