jQuery Metadata conflict with Mystique?

  • A user of my plugin Meteor Slides has reported an issue with the Mystique theme.

    When my plugin is activated, the jQuery in the theme’s UI is disabled, the RSS and Twitter buttons don’t move, the tabbed widget doesn’t switch, etc.

    I’ve narrowed this down to a conflict with the jQuery Metadata plugin which I am using with jQuery Cycle. If I disable the metadata plugin Mystique’s jQuery works fine.

    Has anyone run into any issues using jQuery Metadata with Mystique?
