jQuery problems

I am having problems with my admin pages – lists like technorati reactions are not displaying and the formatting is all shot to hell – like it did not complete the page and so has not loaded the formatting. This is true on the dashboard and new posts page. firefox is showing errors – “jQuery is not defined”. Any ideas how to fix this?
