• Hi
I have customized the theme (with child and custom css) for a site I have working on for a client – volunteer work – The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (Irish site).

I am planning to add a number of more features. This is my first WordPress website, and I have never used jQuery before.

One feature I hope to add is a smooth scroll Back to Top – to replace the current jump. This will require jQuery.

Does anyone know how best to achieve this? A detailed response would be great!

You can see the site here https://www.cncf.ie
Currently password protected as more work needs to be done on content and linking bank account for donations etc…
    The password is : ireland2013

Any feedback on the site would be appreciated.

(I know I need to resize the slider- now dissolving images – on front page, as the are currently slightly different sizes which causes slight glitches)

Thanks all for for making this a lively and supportive forum…

    G

Update your parent to the latest version : the smooth scroll back to top effect has been implemented.
    Cheers

    Thanks Nikeo..
I will do once I can re-connect to my server.. aaaagh!!
(issues with updating wordpress – seems to be a common problem- led me to add code to config.php file.. now i’m locked out…)
Hopefully I can try out the smooth scroll back to top soon
