jquery slide menu sub nav not working in IE

I am using this theme: https://wpdemo.templatepanic.com/?themedemo=Reflecto

As you can see if you open this in IE the drop down sub nav does not work. It is using a jquery slide menu in jquerry 1.4.2. Does anyone have any ideas how to reslove this? it works fine in all other browsers.
