JS Exclude Not Working

Well, for syntax highlighting I actually use syntaxhighligher evolved as well, and I’m not experiencing freezes there. I’m not excluding anything special, but I don’t have aggregate inline JS ticked, do you?

I’m not experiencing freezes, but the javascript exclude function doesn’t work for me since version 2.4. I have to use version 2.3.4.

@aelthen; AO still honours excludes, but if the excluded file is not minified it will minify it, renaming it to wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_single_<xyz123>.js. You can disable that with the code snippet that is mentioned in the AO FAQ.

I had “Aggregate JS-files?” checked, but not “Also aggregate inline JS?”.

same here nomadjacob .. can you check https://blog.futtta.be/2018/08/28/hide-my-wordpress-autoptimize-compatibility-glue/ to see if that freezes on you? what are your syntaxhighligher?

@nomadjacob; I reviewed my syntaxhighligther settings and noticed I have “Highlighter Version” set to “version 2.0”. Can you give that a try to see if you still have freezes that way?
