JS Loading issue

  • Hi there,

    We are using this plugin on our site.

    I am getting a warning in Semrush “717 issues with uncached JavaScript and CSS files”

    It decreases our Semrush score and speed.

    This is due to settings.js file. which is loading in the below format.

    https://api.recart.com/tracking/v2/settings/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/settings.js

    I am not able to cache this file because it is coming from third Party ( your ) Website.

    Can you please let me know how can I cache this file??

    Does this file change everyday dynamically? If not then I can save it on my server and load it ( with caching ).

    Can you please help me regarding this issue.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The settings.js file is used to store your account’s settings on our end, so when your store loads up it will make faster for our tools to activate on your store.

    This however shouldn’t have any major impact on the site’s load speed.

    Can you give us your store’s domain, so we can check if there are any issues with the Recart client on your store?
