JS Optimization causes issues for WPtouch plugin

generally; have a look at the troubleshooting tips in the FAQ.

specifically;probably some WPTouch’s of JS that doesn’t like to be optimized. do you see any error on the browser console? maybe try excluding the WPTourch JS from autoptimization?

Hey @optimizingmatters, we’ve been in contact with Wptouch and they asked us to exclude the files listed here: https://support.wptouch.com/support/solutions/articles/5000542071-wp-minify

We did, but the issues still persist. Any other ideas?

wow, that’s a huge list. easier would be to simply add wptouch to both the CSS & JS optimization exclusion-field.

well, as per the FAQ have a look at the browser console for JS errors, based on that you might be able to pinpoint the problem and find out what (else) needs to get excluded?

Just adding “wptouch” is a lot easier! Hehe thanks for that. Will that work for all files in the list then?

what you could do next is checking if you need wptouch to be excluded both for JS & CSS. my gut feeling says excluding it from JS might be enough ??
