JS react error on converting to blocks / Gutenberg bugs

    Hello,

    Thanks for your plugin.

    I just installed EditosKit to solve the infamous non-management of the unbreakable space in WordPress.

    First thing I want to do is to convert an individual Classic block into new Gutenberg blocks by clicking the ‘More Options’ button (three dots in a vertical line), and then click ‘Convert to Blocks’.

    I have to do that to get the surrounding button allowing me to add unbreakable space.

    The… Nothing happen (broken function). I got a JS react error in the console. Then, disabling EditorsKit solved the issue.

    Good luck to you for avoiding conflict with Gutenberg.

    For me the experience with the new WordPress blocks editors is not good :

    – Auto-saving is crashing frequently.
    – We lose content when we switch between HTML and Visual display…

    Your EditosKit can potentially, also, being a bug solver for Gutenberg ? I hope so.

    In addition to my previous comment, why your unbreakable space button cut the tags (strong, a links), instead of just< adding   or &160; inside the HTML tag strong/a without breaking it ?

    Example :
    <strong>?</strong>&nbsp;<strong>d’excellence</strong>&nbsp;<strong>?</strong>

    Should remain :
    <strong>?&nbsp;d’excellence&nbsp;?</strong>

    Better ?

    I am unable to replicate the issue on my end. Is it possible for you to provide the content that is breaking the editor or causing this issue?

    Also, did you test this by disabling all other plugins?

    Just checking, did you get a chance to test again with the latest update? Can you provide more details as requested in the previous response if the issue is still there?
