    Unable to save the page on a fresh install with default 2022 theme, no extra plugins. Get a warning popup banner with the message:

    Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.

    Just wanted to let anyone reading this thread, the team at Webyx responded to my email promptly, I shared more details about the error, and they are investigating.

    Hi,

    after a careful investigation it emerged that there wasn’t any issue caused by the plugin itself.

    The error message was caused by the user’s host security rules in the ModSecurity tool.
    By whitelisting the rules that were triggering the exceptions the problem ceased to be.

    In addition to this, it is also possible to work on the plugin after disabling ModSecurity from Cpanel and turn it back on once you are done.
