JSON: incorrect character line 1 column 1

  • Version 2.10.0.1 has broken my feed. I had to revert to an older version. I was getting an error that said an incorrect (or unexpected) character was at line 1 column 1 in the JSON. I’m afraid I don’t have the exact error in front of me. I didn’t think to keep that tab open after I finally resolved the issue. Hopefully this will help you, though.

    Hi there,
    Sorry to hear you are having issues with the latest version.

    Are you using a cdn for your site JS?
    Sounds like you either had:

    1. Old javascript loaded
    2. An error in your repeater template which caused the json return to error.
