JSON output working only for logged in users

  • Hi there –

    I’m encountering a strange thing where https://mysite.com/api/?json=get_post&post_type=ef_user_image&id=359 will return the correct JSON info from the database if I’m logged in as an administrator but return an error if I’m not logged in as an admin. It will still return an error even if I’m logged in as someone without admin privileges.

    Questions:
    ? Is there any setting in the plugin I can modify to allow returned data for ALL user levels?
    ? Is there a WordPress setting somewhere else that could be causing this restriction that I can modify?
    ? Is there a server setting that could be causing this restriction that I can modify?

    Interesting additional info: The JSON api works when the user has EDITOR level permissions, but nothing below.
