I hope you’re well today!

It’s not only serialized array but it’s also post meta rather post content itself.

There’s a way that might be working with this, though. Please try this:

1. In “Settings -> Link Checker -> Which Links To Check” make sure that “Plaintext URLs” option is enabled too

2. In “Settings -> Link Checker -> Look for Links In” enable “Custom fields”

3. and in the “Enter the names of custom fields…” text box below that enter the name of the field as seen in “meta key” column on screenshot; if I see it correctly it would be

_ywcfav_video

Save all settings, clear all caches and try force re-checking all links (there’s option to force in “Advanced” tab of Link Checker settings.

Could you try this and let me know if it worked for you, please?

?Our SLS team came up with a quick solution for the same by making up a mu-plugin. Here is the link to the plugin:

?Here are the step by step instructions to install the mu-plugin with screenshots for your reference:

??Once you install the plugin, make sure you have html:_ywcfav_video added to the custom fields section by navigating to your site wp-admin Dashboard-> Settings-> Link Checker-> Look for links in-> Look for links in-> Select “Custom Fields” option and then add the custom field and hit the Save Changed button at the bottom of the page.

?Clear all caches and try force re-checking all links (there’s an option to force in “Advanced” tab of Link Checker settings and let me know if this works for you.

Such great support.

It does seem to catch those links now.
But there seems to be some issue – some HTML closing tags are added to some links. See the screenshot below:

BTW, is this functionality planned to be added to the core plugin in the future?

I’m bringing this into our SLS team to double-check regarding what might be causing this. Will keep you posted once we get further feedback sap.

BTW, is this functionality planned to be added to the core plugin in the future?

At the moment, the snippet shared is more of a workaround. I’ll be bringing this into our team’s attention to check the possibilities of considering this feature down the plugin’s roadmap.
