• First, I love the plugin!

Everything worked great as I began entering in people, however as I moved along I noticed things started to shift.

First, on my family tree page, my root person is nowhere near the center of the screen on page load anymore, he’s hidden way off in the hidden area. Is there a way to make sure that is always centered?

Also, how are people ordered on the Family Members (list) page? Can I change that order? When you first visit my page, you see some names that may not make sense since they don’t share a last name (and don’t link to the spouse).

Lastly, I know the admin can toggle spouses on and off, but is there a way users can as well? I like how clean and easy to understand it looks without spouses, but I certainly don’t want to leave them off altogether.

The URL to the tree page is https://www.veldtfamily.com/genealogy/

Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance!

Ok, I don’t care as much about the order of the family members (list) page or the the ability for users to toggle spouses on and off…

I decided my ideal solution would be to leave the spouses off of the actual tree view, but include them in the main list. The only hurdle, then, is to at least show who their spouse is so you can easily see their connection to the family.

By default, the father, mother, children and siblings are shown in the both the list view and at the top of each individual page – why? How do I add a link to the spouse?

I was able to add the “Spouse” line but it always renders as “Unspecified” for everyone. I’m guessing I didn’t define a relationship somewhere…?

Anyone have a solution to my second post?

I’m still trying to figure out how to modify the code so that the spouse connection is shown when viewing the list view. Otherwise, without them being shown in the tree view, you have no idea what their connection to the family is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same question. How are people ordered on the list page. At the moment, it seems rather random.

Is there a way of excluding deceased people? Can I indicate that someone is deceased if I don’t know their death date?
