Hello. I have been searching for this answer and haven’t quite found the answer to this yet.

I think the only way to explain this is if I link back to my site here and I’ll use just 1 post as an example.

So, if someone goes to this url: https://positiving.com/blog/page/2, there is no comments box on the bottom of the page.

However, if someone instead gets to that same post via this url instead: https://positiving.com/10-every-day-steps-to-become-more-positive-450.html
then, the comments box is there at the bottom.

Now, I put this code in to the post: <a title="Link to Comments" href="https://positiving.com/10-every-day-s…-more-positive-450.html#comments">Leave Comments Here</a> so that if someone is on the 1st url above, they’ll have a way to get to the 2nd url above so that they can leave comments.

That said, that link I put in to the post takes them to the top of the 2nd url’s page. How can I make it so that someone will skip right down to the comments box on the 2nd url’s page when they click on the link?

Please note that the only way I know how to edit this is within the post itself even though the post is on the site with both url’s (which the software did automatically).

I appreciate the assistance in advance!

  • Try using this instead:

    <a title="Link to Comments" href="https://positiving.com/10-every-day-steps-to-become-more-positive-450.html#respond">Leave Comments Here</a>

Thank-you so very, very kindly! That is exactly what I needed and it’s working perfectly!
