Jump to page anchor

I have several buttons on my home page that link to a page. When the user clicks on the link https://link.com/services/#membership, I need it to goto that elements.

Below is what I have in my page about 6 different tag’s, but it doesn’t goto that element.
<h1 style=”text-align: center;” name=’membership’>membership</h1>

Any Ideas on how to achieve this?
