Jumpbox for WordPress

I am looking into developing my own theme but want to avoid the hassle of installing and configuring a separate test system. Since I use the free VMware Server a lot for work-related tests, I looked around for a VMware appliance that includes a full WordPress install. That’s when I stumbled upon JumpBox – https://www.jumpbox.com/jumpbox-for-the-wordpress-blogging-system

I am downloading it right now but am curious about other people’s experiences with it. It looks like a marvelous idea so why hasn’t it been discussed before?
