• Installed, signed up for key forced to render email, website and name, placed code,
Code generated ONLY an amount with a huge gray lined box rendering it useless, UNINSTALLED,

Instructions are useless as everyone knows how to download and install the basic Plugin, placing the code and what code to place is paramount but oddly missing as well as the codes not easy to find

    Hi,

Sorry you had these problems. In future, it would be worth raising issues first in the support forum.

Ah, okay. The key part of this is out of my hands as the actually exchange rates are provided by a third party – that’s who you had to get the API from.

Oh, that’s odd. Where was the box? In the settings screen or when you tried to add a conversion to a post? I’ve never seen that before, I’ll admit.

Thanks for the feedback on this. A lot of my plugins were first written before the plugins directory on www.ads-software.com had a big overhaul, so the format of my README reflects how it was. It now displays the README differently, so I could probably do with re-arranging it to make it more obvious.

Was it just finding the instructions that was the problem or do you think more detail is then required to walk through using it?

I have added 2 of those concerns onto the issues log for the plugin and I’ll take a look at these in due course…

If you can provide more details about the “grey box” I’ll get that added too.
