    ditched this on all our sites. The product has become mostly snake-oil scare mongering in the last few years but injecting huge ad banners in the admin area is absolutely unacceptable.

    Thanks for your comment.

    You should no longer see the Black Friday banner in the backend. That said, we understand that the banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so last Thursday we released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
