• It’s just a trial of a paid service (which isn’t efficient at blocking spam).

Automattic (WordPress) shouldn’t allow these types of plugins here. I will report it.

If a product offers additional features, we should be able to choose whether to purchase it or not. If a plugin stops functioning altogether, then it shouldn’t be available here.

    Hello @belgen

This is not a stand-alone plugin, it is a plugin for working with a cloud service. CleanTalk is a plugin of free code that works with the Cloud Anti-Spam Service: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_as_a_service

These types of plugins are allowed in the WordPress directory, please look here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/is-this-plugin-free-to-use-after-trial/#post-5336850

Other SaaS services may have some kind of free package, but in such cases it may have some limitations in functionality. In addition, their premium users pay for the work of all other free clients, since free users also consume the resources of this service.

which isn’t efficient at blocking spam

Have you contacted tech support? CleanTalk detects spam in multistage tests allowing us to block up to 99.998% of spam bots.

Let us know if you have any questions.`
