    hello there,

thanks first of all for this great plugin!

like others, I was wondering about WP Featherlight and how to use iframes?
I know this has been asked here twice, but those last inquiries were answered with the information that a howto + tutorials are in the works.
since this is 2 months ago, I felt it′s ok to ask again, also to indicate to you that especially this function to implement iframe is in highest demand ??

… in any other case, I would propose to at least bracket or annotate the info in the plugin description: “It’s also possible to lightbox videos, iframes, and ajax content with WP Featherlight by adding data attributes to your content.”
    – at least I couldn′t find any way yet, running through all possibilities given at: https://github.com/noelboss/featherlight
also there seems no info around the net.

thanks for any feedback and/or consideration
    + very best! oliver

    Hey Leroy,

Can you give me a specific example of what you’re trying to do? It’s definitely possible to load iframed content using the featherlight script, but it’ll probably make more sense if I can demonstrate it on something you’re familiar with.

We do have plans to create some detailed instructions on extending featherlight to do more advanced things, but in the meantime I’d be happy to try to get whatever it is you’re struggling with working.

    hello Robert,

thanks for getting back first of all!
    – and this is Oliver, to make it more personal.

after not being able to do things with Fetaherlight, I found a Nivo-lightbox implementation for WP that in principle looks very similar.
    – … but I guess the dataload is higher (though I am not really sure, what the differences between both solutions really boil down to)

    the example is here:

… if you click on the “folio” there, you see what I was aiming for.

I am also keen to understand whether a move to featherlight would really make a big difference now, compared to the Nivo-solution…

thanks for any thoughts or attention spans given!

very best + appreciating any effort!
    oliver
