    Hi @10up ??

    I’m just curious..

    Why use and what is the reason to use a plugin that bloats the system (All plugins added bloats the system little by little), when you can just made a txt file directly in your www root folder or just create a ads.txt page within WordPress?

    So what would ever be the incentive to go ad far and install a plugin that mostly do the same?

    @angrywarrior not all WordPress site owners have easy access to their file systems nor the technical ability to handle SSH or FTP access, so this helps make the process for them as graceful as possible. Similarly the plugin ensures the ads.txt format is not malformed which could be a simple human error if done manually that could lead to a meaningful drop in revenue.

    Right, thanks a bunch for your explanation. That makes sense I suppose. I mean for non tech savvy this might be easier.

    I was just simply curious if there where any other reasons from a technical standpoint / or benefits of going this route. But I can now see that if you know what you’re doing there isn’t much benefits with it then.
