just doesnt work

    Hey there ??
    I am puzzled. I just dont get it to work. The instructions seemed so simple and forward. I installed the plugin, connected my facebook and set a trigger:

    A user publishes aPost type: Any post typepost withTerm: Any taxonomy terminTaxonomy: Any taxonomy

    And an action

    Publish a photo toInstagram account: mussmansehenpodcast

    Publish a post toFacebook Page: Mussmansehen Podcast

    but it wont work. It doesnt even say it has any completed runs of the thing.

    also: the actions and triggers and the whole recipe are live

    Sorry to hear about the issue.

    We will need a lot more details to better understand what’s not working here. Maybe you could provide the following:

    • A screenshot of your recipe with all details (triggers and actions) expanded.
    • Confirmation of what you see on the recipe log page. If it’s blank, check the Automator > Status > Tools page and ensure there are no database issues. The System Report from Automator > Status would be helpful.
    • Details about the steps you’re taking to trigger the recipe. What type of post are you publishing and what’s the role of the user publishing it?

    in the logs there are errors listed:

    Completed with errorsUnexpected error encountered while creating a media container: (OAuthException: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.)

    I did not change my passwort since.

    i am publishing as admin. The post type is a custom post made by the plugin podlove.

    You should probably delete the post with the system info as that may have some sensitive data in there.

    We would recommend changing your trigger to target “posts” as the post type only, there’s too much risk otherwise, but the issue is likely linked to authentication given your message about the error. Can you try reconnecting the Facebook and Instagram accounts and trying again to see if that resolves things?

    also… any advice how to get that report deleted? Might have been handy to know that the report contains sensitive information before.

    Hi @cumioco , sorry about that, that’s why we mentioned sending any sensitive details by email. It’s mainly the site URL that we weren’t sure if you would want public. Inside the post above you should see an “Edit” link in the bottom right that allows to make changes, otherwise you could escalate it to the .org team.
