Hi so I just installed version 1.3.3 of your plugin to view visitor counts.

However, we don’t see any numbers in the dashboard at all, even if I switch to a specific day or entire month of November.

I am using a plugin Perfmatters. Could there be any problems with it? Thanks!

    Hello @vs2020,

When I visit your website I see that the tracking script is being loaded correctly and a request to collect data about my pageview is being sent to the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=koko_analytics_collect endpoint.

However, since that request is returning a HTTP 500 error, it looks like something isn’t working. Is your /wp-content/uploads/ directory writable?

For performance reasons, the plugin appends every pageview to a temporary file stored in /wp-content/uploads/pageviews.php and then periodically (every minute) aggregates all pageviews and updates your database with the latest stats.

In your case it looks like writing to the temporary pageviews file is somehow not working. Your PHP error log should have details on the exact issue, but I would start by checking whether /wp-content/uploads/pageviews.php is writable for your web server.

Hope that helps. If not, let us know please.
