Just installed: Can’t access site editor

Based on the description, I suspect a server-side error that led to a JavaScript error in your browser, which in turn caused the loading bar to show no progress.

Which theme are you using? If it is not a standard theme (like TwentyTwentyFive) then I would recommend activating one first to rule this out as the cause.

If that doesn’t help, my recommendation would be to check on the server side to see if an error is occurring there. You can find this in the error log in the hosting. Alternatively, you can also set WordPress to debug mode, see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

You can also look in the JavaScript console of your browser to see whether and which error is displayed there at that moment. See: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/advanced-administration/debug/debug-javascript/
