HELP ! Just installed – What do I do now ? – Lost in Space

    Help.

    I installed WordPress on a host, so I’ve now theoretically got a blog called FinancialMites.com – but what do I do now ?

    When I go to the Financial Mites page I assume I am supposed to login. But what is my login information ? How do I create an account ? If that’s what I am supposed to do. Totally confused !

  • When you installed WP you should have seen a screen that gave you a username and password. I think these will have been emailed to you direct too.

    If you don’t have that information then it will be very difficult for you to get it back.

    The default user name is “admin” but the password is randomly generated.

    To login go to https://www.yourdomain/yourinstallfolder/wp-admin

    Should present you with a username/password box. Did you install in the root folder or a subfolder?
