Just installed WordPress. Admin not working

  • I just installed wordpress 2.6.3 through Go Daddy’s applications install. The blog now works:

    but I can’t access my admin page. When I put in my username and password, all it does is resent the username and password fields, but doesnt enter any admin page. Please help!!!

  • Well, your username is probably admin unless you changed it. So, go to the login screen here:

    https://www.twilightartistry.com/blog/wp-login.php

    And click on the lost password link and see if you can reset your password.

    I assigned a username and passord through go-daddy. when they install wordpress for you, they ask you for it. I can look at my ggo-daddy control panel and it says my username and password and they just arent working. When I click on the “Fogot Password” link and it asks for username or email to send the new passord, the same thing happens. it just resets the filed and does nothing.
