“Fatal Seductions Online” is a new story in the ‘Fatal Seductions’ series that are in printed copies. ‘Fatal Seductions 3’ in now available in bookshops in Singapore.
    I will post
    (a) 2 chapters weekly for the “Fatal Seductions Online”
    (b) few posts weekly written by the fictional characters.
    (c) few posts weekly facts and news about AIDS and HIV
    (d) two posts weekly on a comic strip (still working on it).

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I forsee getting very messy with so many posts in months to come.
Or should I have used a website instead?

Here are a few things I would seriously look at implementing.

    1. I would put a copyright notice at the bottom of the site, something like “Copyright ? 2011 Fatal Seductions. All rights reserved.” along with a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages. These need to be pages and not just posts. They need to set the rules for the website and set out consequences to violations.

    2. Have your Adult Warning Content message be one of the first things that a person sees when entering your website. What about a pop-up message that lets the user know within seconds of logging onto the website with the Warning Adult Content message.

    3. You might want to restrict your comments to posts and not pages. For example, I would disable the comments on the About page. There is no reason they would need to post a comment about your About page.

    4. If you are wanting to post chapters then I would seriously consider the Chapters theme from WooThemes (https://www.woothemes.com/2010/11/chapters/). This would fit very well with what you are trying to do.

I hope that this helps. Good luck!!

    Thanks Sammysimms,

    Your suggestions are extremely helpful.
The thing is, how do I get them carried out. Plug ins? Or I’ll have to learn html to do them?
The Chapters Theme looks great. Would I still be able to put Adsense or other ads inside my posts?

If you stayed with the current Twenty Ten themes then you could make the copyright notice a footer (text widget) and check out the WordPress Plugin Directory for popup messages or check out this one (https://www.netchillies.com/subscriptions-plus/) and alter the subsciption into a display screen.

If you went with the Chapters theme, some of this would be available with the theme. You can still have adsense with the theme. The theme just helps you incorporate a look and feel of the site, plus WooThemes is great because they provide many options.

    Good Luck!

    Hi Sammysimms,
    Thanks again.
I like the Chapters but it’s quite costly for me at the moment. Would I be able to have two books in one blog site? Would Chapters still work?
I’ve downloaded some of the plug-ins you’ve suggested, and I’m very grateful for your insight and advice.
If I’ve decided to get the Chapters, would I have to re-install all the pluggins that I’m currently having? If I’d have to re-install, then I better hold back add more plug-ins.
Btw, are you with Woo? If you are, I certainly don’t mind getting the theme as a way of appreciation.

Sorry, I am in no way affiliated with any WordPress theme company, I just know most of the theme making companies pretty well. If you were to use Chapters I don’t see why you can’t have two books and your plugins should still work. Also, there are MANY WordPress theme making companies out there. WooThemes is good but they are only one place. If I were you just open your favorite browser and type in something like “wordpress book theme” and see what happens. You might find something better that I haven’t seen yet. Also, there are lots of free themes too.

I like your changes so far, looks good. Good luck!! ??
