    Hi there,
I saw this happened to someone else a week ago as well, but today I migrated to SSL and everything seemed okay until my broken link checker started going crazy with all my internal links. I went to check and while each one switched to https they are all missing the “/” that comes after the .com portion of the domain rendering the internal links broken. I have been trying to change them manually but honestly, there are thousands. Is this a known issue?

Apart from this one other report, I have had no other reports on this, on a total of about 6 million websites. We’ve done some tests, but haven’t been able to reproduce such behavior.

Really Simple SSL handles mixed content dynamically, by replacing the http version of your domain with the https version of your domain (it does not add or remove slashes at the end). This means that if the mixed content fixer has anything to do with your issue, you can fix it by disabling the mixed content fixer in settings/ssl => “mixed content fixer”.

If this does not resolve the issue, it’s not Really Simple SSL.

Some background info which might help find the cause:
    – What are the settings of your site url and home url in settings/general?
    – Did you, your developer or your hosting company do a search/replace from http to https on your domain on the site?
    – Apart from activating Really Simple SSL, were any other steps taken to migrate to SSL, like installing other plugins?

    Hi @sarawatsonim,

The issue seems to be resolved. It would be great if you can share your solution for other users.

    Thanks!

It’s not actually resolved, I’m just changing 1600 internal links manually by adding the missing “/”.

    To answer your above questions:

    – What are the settings of your site url and home url in settings/general?

The site and home URL are both https://livelovesara.com

    – Did you, your developer or your hosting company do a search/replace from http to https on your domain on the site?

Yes, but after the issue was noticed.

    – Apart from activating Really Simple SSL, were any other steps taken to migrate to SSL, like installing other plugins?

    No other plugins were installed.

If you can see the incorrect links in the post editor, the links are stored incorrectly in the database.

Really Simple SSL does not make any changes in the database, so can’t have caused this.
