Just need page & not post on index/home.php

  • Hi all,

    My first post here so treat me tenderly ??

    Instead of the regular slew of posts on the front page I would, ideally, like to have a wp page displayed. Now is there a plugin that lets me show a page instead of index.php or home.php?

    Or do I just have to edit said pages to show just one post?

  • In your Admin panel – take a look at Options – Reading – Reading Options – Front page and pick the page that you want to show as your front page.

    If you go to Options – Reading, you can see that you can choose whether to display a static page or latest posts as your frontpage.
