It happens regardless of the page. It’s especially a problem in administration. I go to “Posts” in the admin menu and nothing happens. All I can suggest is that you check your coding for possible errors.

Really thanks for your hint! There was a javascript error, caused by the experiments integrating the functions into the editor. This code was not removed before commiting, sorry for that!

Thank you, though the sub menus under a menu item still don’t always appear automatically. I’ll live with it.
