• Serious problem. I finally found out why my site’s backups were failing, and why the wp folders had almost 300mb of files total when there should only have been 60mb. Turns out that the wunderground plugin was somehow creating thousands of files buried way down in the following folder:

    /wp/wp-content/plugins/wunderground/vendor/twig/twig/test/Twig/Tests/Loader/Fixtures/named_quater/.X1-unix/

After i removed the plugin (which took about 5 mins to finish deleting itself), my total wp files went down to 60mb.

Did the developer left some test code in that was causing this? Question: is it fixed now? can you please add something to the next update that will automatically look for and delete all these thousands of files with random names and sub-folders, so that the previous sites I’ve created using this plugin will not bog down and eventually halt doing backups?

This took me hours to finally find out what was causing it. I used Filezilla to search all files on the entire site, and noticed these thousands of files buried in this sub-folder under wunderground plugin folder.
