Just Received "WordPress Database Error Deadlock"

  • I just received this this error on my cpanel after noticing my site has a 1001 error reading :Error 1001 Ray ID: 1ff5083a7bc31fc4 ? 2015-07-01 20:59:47 UTC
    DNS resolution error

    This is what my error log says:

    [01-Jul-2015 19:13:12] WordPress database error Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction for query DELETE FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘rewrite_rules’ made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘wp_loaded’), call_user_func_array, WP_Rewrite->flush_rules, delete_option

    I have no idea what to do…please help!

    What did you do before you this error occurred?
    Have you had chance to discuss this issue with your hosting provider?
