BLOATWARE/ADWARE – Just removed the plugin after years of use.

  • This plugin used to be decent. I’ve used it for years on my website to create a “under maintenance” page, which is what it was originally for. Over the years after each update they’ve added more and more bloatware and “features” that are completely inappropriate and have nothing to do with the original plugin’s purpose and now I guess it’s a full blown adware. I don’t want all this junk. The worst part is that everytime they update they add more menus and prompts to buy other plugins and the PRO version to the menu and settings pages. This last update added FOURTEEN links to the admin menu advertising other plugins. It’s basically adware now.
