Just saved 159MB, impressive!

  • Without changing any complicated settings, I just saved a lot of space on a site where I *thought* everything was fine to begin with. After testing on 12 more live sites I’m convinced. This will be default for every new project.

    Wishlist (nice to have, nothing more)

    1. Auto re-size to max dimensions.
    2. Clean-up of old unused images (this one could be out of scope)

    Please ALWAYS keep the following:

    Options menu under “Media” instead of claiming space in main Admin menu. I love this, thank you.

    For your wishlist, reSmush.it is specialized in image Optimization, we let the resizing options to WordPress or other plugins. We prefer to do a very good job in the optimization only ??
    For the clean-up, several people asked us, but the un-optimized pictures are useful if you want to change your Image optimization level !
