Outstanding. Installed on a Site5 account and it was really simple. The best of any SSL plugin I’ve tried. Thanks for whatever changes were made, it integrates beautifully.

—old review —-

At first it was easy to use and well-documented. This saved me a ton of time and money.

Now a couple of months later when it’s time to renew, an update has broken it. “fopen” to be activated must be a new thing, because that’s the error I’m getting. I’m uninstalling and trying something else.

Update
I switched to a host for most of my sites that offers free certs. For the one that doesn’t, and doesn’t have CPANEL either, the plug-in made it pretty easy to download the certs I need. Then I could upload them to tech support and they dealt with it.

But now, the path to generate and download certs is missing. I went through part of the process and clicked install, and the message is that the cert is renewed for 90 days — but it isn’t. Clicking on the lock icon shows that it expires next Tuesday. Clicking “Setup” only sends me to the incorrect status page.
