Just unusable with multisite

    Yes, you have right.
    The MU support is more a hack, not a solution. But I have hint for this often and the users will use this. A MU functionality is not very easy, like in WPML or SEO. Important for the seetings is the current status of each blog, was readed from the system. All users have a different install wih different objects and plugins.
    But I have this wish on my issue; maybe I find time to create the solution in near time.

    yes it wil be great ?? because your plugin is the only solution (as far i know) which can simply hide some stuffs without changing WordPress Roles.
