    Hi,

    Posting this here also as i haven’t received a reply here April 1, 2018 at 12:08 pm:
    https://www.nextscripts.com/forums/topic/just-updated-and-auto-post-not-happening/

    So i just updated to the latest version and since last night, i have tons of post and the query/timeline is full but only 1 post got posted. If i look at the query and note the time of the next post, that time comes and goes but the post doesn’t get posted but the post stays in the query and is now showing scheduled for the next posting time. And so on and so on.
    I’ve checked and rechecked all settings. Cron works. Even cleared the query but same thing. Logs show nothing wrong.

    Ok it gets weirder. Time now is 11:31am and the post was scheduled for 11:28am and this just happened:
    [Skipped]- Already Autoposted (on 2018-04-02 15:29:04)

    [2018-04-02 11:30:07] – [Skipped]- Already Autoposted (on 2018-04-02 15:29:04) – Post ID:(73152)
    [2018-04-02 11:30:07] – [Start =- ]- ——=========#### NEW AUTO-POST REQUEST ####=========—— PostID:(73152) Automated
    [2018-04-02 11:30:06] – [Query]- –===#### POST REQUEST FROM QUERY – Post ID:(73152) ####===– 0
    [2018-04-02 11:30:06] – [Cron Request]- 63.11s after the previous one. | Cron called from ********* (Wget/1.12 (linux-gnu))
    [2018-04-02 11:29:03] – [Start =- ]- ——=========#### NEW AUTO-POST REQUEST ####=========—— PostID:(73152) Automated
    [2018-04-02 11:29:03] – [Query]- –===#### POST REQUEST FROM QUERY – Post ID:(73152) ####===– 0

    Plus i set it to 1 minute for a test and it did the same for any new post that has never been posted before.

    Well getting tired of waiting so tried everything possible. Last effort before i roll back or ditch the plugin.

    Removed all SNAP metainfo in the post – DONE
    Clear Query – DONE
    Remove all pending SNAP Cron tasks – DONE
    Clear Cache – DONE
    Delete all SNAP Data – DONE

    Now starting fresh, lets see where this goes.

    **Update: Well even after all that, same shit.

    Please check your server logs for errors. Log basically shows that plugin tries to post the same post from query. First time it marked it as posted and then dies before actually posting it. Next time it gives “Already Autoposted”.

    Please check the server logs for the reason why the script died.

    @nextscripts Thank you for responding. It all started once i upgraded. I’ve check the usual error logs through cpanel and in error_log and php-errors.log. Am i looking in the wrong spot? Please can you point or help any further?

    Usually it’s error_log. Do you have anything there right after the first “POST REQUEST FROM QUERY”.

    PS: will it work if you turn off query? Will it work is you switch to “Publish immediately”?

    @nextscripts thanks for the response. So we redid the whole site and somehow got it posting. Never did find out what was the cause. Only having two issues now:

    1) if we set the Limit autoposting speed to something like 1 hr 30 with randomize of =-30 it won’t post and log shows no request to autopost, setting it to 5 mins or 1 mins has worked.

    2) filter is set to only post from one category, query is full and it does skip a post if it’s in the wrong category but it doesn’t move on to the next one and so on in the query until it finds one to post..it will just skip that time slot, should this not be the way it should work?

    3) We have it set to skip/discard/don’t autopost if more post than daily limit. But the query remains full. Old post from a day ago or two are even being posted.

    Thanks again

    Just tried 1 hour and it didn’t request post or post. nothing in log and the post is still in the query but the time has been moved up by an hour

    Also i found these today in the errors log but i believe it’s just a php 7 thing:
    [05-Apr-2018 21:06:30 UTC] PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/world/public_html/wp-content/plugins/social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/inc/nxs_class_snap.php on line 1147

    So we had to give up on Version 4. It just wasn’t working no matter what we did. Installed 3.8.8 again and it’s working as good as it can.

    Even on this version though the queue gets full of categories that are not selected and then instead of skipping the post and trying the next one it just waits till the next posting time.

    Will have to keep a very close eye on it to make sure it’s not posting 2 day old posts even though it’s set to discard.

    Hi,

    Same here,…all stopped?!

    OMG!
    This is the *worst* experience Ive ever had with a wordpress plug-in, or alleged support. Ive tried for over a week to get it to work and now every time i try to log into Facebook I HAVE TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD
    AND IVE 3 TIMES REQUESTED SUPPORT AND HAVE BEEN IGNORED!!
    This is shameful. PLEASE don’t spend your money on this “upgrade.”
