  • Hi @mcpherson22

    I had a similar problem. What cured it for me was to go in and remove the ‘\’ characters that v1.0.7 had inserted in error into the string to be replaced.

    Hope this helps
    @cpcusteve

    As @cpcusteve said: You have to remove the backslashes, that were inserted by v1.0.7 into the code to replace. If you do so, v1.0.8 should do fine.

    I have to correct myself: Unfortanetly there still seems to be a problem with v1.0.8. At the first look everything seems to be fine. But if you look at the HTML-Code of the page, there is some code inserted after the closing html-tag at the end. The footer is replaced, but the code at the end of the page looks like this:

    </html>
    		Stolz pr?sentiert von WordPress	</a>

    or this:

    </html>
    		Powered by WordPress	</a>

    With v1.0.6 everything works fine.

    Hi everyone,

    I have been having a problem with this plugin since 1.07 (which effectively stops the plugin from working at all). I thought if other people had the same problem, the author would sort it out themselves. However, 1.08 now adds a line of text beneath the webpage itself at the bottom left. See my screen capture (link valid for 2 days).

    For the time being, I reverted to 1.06, as that works fine. I am grateful to the designer who created this plugin. Hopefully, a solution can be found shortly.

    I’ve already posted this on the “Update 1.0.7” thread, but since that thread is now marked as “Resolved” I’m posting it again here:
    Unfortunately the update to version 1.0.8 still doesn’t work for me (using Spacious version 1.9.3 by ThemeGrill), but if I revert to version 1.0.6 everything works perfectly again. (Note that I’ve checked that there are no unwanted backslashes in the code, as mentioned by others above.)
    With version 1.0.8 (and using exactly the same code as I’m using with version 1.0.6), two things happen:
    1) I’m unable to change the footer credit text
    2) an additional footer is added below the original footer – so I have two identical footer credit lines!
    Again, as soon as I revert to version 1.0.6, everything works perfectly again.

    Hi guys!

    So sorry for the trouble!
    We just released an update addressing this bug.
    Can you please update? It should solve the issue.
    Please let me know ??

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

    Thanks Mihaela, but (sorry!) I’m afraid version 1.0.9 still doesn’t work for me.
    It stops the extra line being added below the actual footer (as described above), so that’s great – thanks for fixing that. However, I still can’t remove or change the footer text – but if I revert to 1.0.6 everything works perfectly again. (Sorry again for giving you this trouble!)

    I am so sorry to hear that! We are trying to find the error and fix it asap.
    I will write here as soon as we fix it and release the update.

    Thank you so much for being so understanding! ??

    Best wishes,
    Mihaela

    Thanks Mihaela, very much appreciated.
    All best wishes
    Pat

    Mihaela,
    Just wanted to let you know that I’ve updated to version 1.0.10 and everything now works perfectly ??
    Hope this solves the issue for everyone else too!
    Thanks so much again to you and the team for everything you do.
    With best wishes
    Pat

    Thank you so much, Pat! So happy to hear that ??
